On a damp Wednesday Night, The New England Sk Modifieds pulled into Kalamazoo for there two 50 lap features. With a buzz in the air, you could tell the drivers that traveled all the way from the New England states on the East Coast, we hungry to knock off Kalamazoo Hot Shoe Matt Corliss at his home track. The night heated up as Corliss would prove he was the man to beat as he grabbed the pole for both events. He would lead all 50 laps in the 1st race to take the checkers. Race 2 was like Deja Vu, Bobby Ambroceo put the heat on Corliss the whole way, showing that one mistake and he was ready to pounce. Unfortunately for Ambroceo and the others, they were not able to do anything with Corliss. Ambroceo would finish 2nd, Jim Windrow was 3rd, Chad Barcomb 4th, and Bill Kring 5th.
