7/26/12.Iowa. Week #8 of the DIRTcar Series headed west to Knoxville Raceway for the mid season sizzler. First up were the 55’s. The racing was exciting as we seen 2 and 3 wide racing. Chad Barcomb would take the checkered flag. Next up was the 40 lap modified feature. Matt Corliss would slide past Bill Kring and hold off a hard charging Phil Loedeman to win the 2nd feature of the night. The finally was the Late Model 50 lapper. Loedeman looked like he had the race in command as he dominated up until a late yellow would bunch up the field. On the final restart Jim Windrow ran out of brakes going into turn one taking Loedeman for a ride. After the dust settled, Bill Kring grabbed his 2nd checkered flag of the season.
