The added prize money and prestige of the TV Race brought out a great field of drivers, many for their only appearance of the season. The addition of drivers made for a lot more action and a great race overall. The green, white, checker finish set up for a lot of pushing and shoving as the race was settled in a cloud of dust and bent sheet metal at the line. ECT’s owner, Pete “The Outlaw” Sindone came out of semi-retirement to win proving there’s still some fight in them very old bones. Season points leader Chuck McClure and short track ace Jim Windrow literally fought their way to the finish sideways with McClure in second and Windrow who led the most laps of the race in third. I would personally like to thank all who participated for making this a great event and to Rob Neises and Mike Scott for help admining.
