With a late race caution involving the entire field except the leader, the Reaper was able to cruise unchallenged to the finish line for his first win of the season. The rest of the field scrambled to recover what positions they could. Points leader Chuck McClure maintained his 45 point lead and virtually locked up the title. he need only take the green flag (on a tricycle if he wants) to collect the trophy.
