Racing at ECT:
ALL Drivers will enter ANY race here at ECT using the rlm arena.. NO ONE will come in any other way at all… If you are NOT using rlm area you will not race here.. This will be checked during race…
Team Speak:
ECT uses Team Speak for Communication at ALL times. Your Team Speak MUST be Working Totally, That means you can hear and Speak.. THIS IS MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE !!!!!
Connecting & Reconnecting:
There will be NO manual disconnecting allowed after the 5 min Resetting of the Server.. If you manual disconnect your done for the night.. The only way you can come back to race is if you were dropped for a problem…This goes for EVERYONE so DONT ASK !!!
STARTS & RESTARTS:
WE WILL HAVE 1 RESTART PER RACE ONLY IF THE LAST CAR DID NOT PASS THE START/FINISH LINE
ON RESTARTS WITH TEN OR LESS LAPS TO GO, ALL LAPPED CARS MUST DRIVE THROUGH THE PITS ON THE THIRD PACE LAP, AND LINE UP SINGLE FILE FOR THE RESTART.
ON ALL STARTS, POSITIONS 1 & 2 MUST MAINTAIN STEADY PACE SPEED (THE SPEED OF THE PACE CAR ) UNTIL THE GREEN FLAG IS SHOWN.
THE PROPER DISTANCE BETWEEN CARS DURING PACE LAPS IS .3 TO .5
ALL CARS MUST STAGGER LOW / HIGH UNTIL ONE LAP TO GO GREEN.
FAILURE TO MAINTAIN .5 MAXIMUM DISTANCE WILL BE DEEMED A FLYING START.
IF THE LEADER SLOWS BELOW 3 MPH UNDER PACE SPEED AFTER THE PACE CARS HAS LEFT THE TRACK, THIS WILL BE DEEMED BRAKE CHECKING.
THERE WILL BE 1 RESTART PER RACE!!!! Check with your series to be sure..
UNDER GREEN:
2 Spin Rule: Should you self spin or be the cause of 2 accidents in a single race you must park your car/truck. When a driver does bring out the yellow, and the full field is under caution and behind the pace car, it is the driver at faults responsibility to let the entire field and admin know he was the cause of that yellow. This will be considered your first warning. On the second yellow caused by the same driver, he once again will alert the field of his fault and then park his car. Should there be a dispute over the cause,. The admins will review the incident after the race and the driver causing the wreck will be given a written warning for the yellow. 2 such written warnings in a single season for that series will result in a 1 week suspension from racing. Should a driver bring out 2 cautions and not park his car/truck and alert tHE field and admins that it is him, he will be ejected from the server upon the field taking the yellow.
OVER AGGRESSIVE DRIVING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. THERE IS A FINE LINE BETWEEN DRIVING AGGRESSIVE & DRIVING OVER AGGRESSIVE. OVER AGGRESSIVE & RECKLESS DRIVING WILL BRING SEVERE PENALTIES, INCLUDING POINTS, PURSE, DQ, RACE SUSPENSIONS, TERMINATION FROM LEAGUE, OR ANY COMBINATION DETERMINED BY THE RACE ADMIN.
Driving below the Line:
There is NO driving below any line in any series. If you are forced below the line re-enter the track when it is safe to do so to your original position if possible. If you are forced below the line no penalty infraction will be assesed to you. Additionally, some tracks where you can pass below the line, the advent will notify all drivers prior to begining of the race.
Intentionally Wrecking Another Driver:
Anyone intentionally wrecking another driver will be suspended for 30 days and be on probation for aleast a full season after. If and when that driver returns and intentionally wrecks another driver. That driver would be ban for life at ECT. Intentionally wrecking another driver for whatever reason, will not be tolerated by ANYONE !!! We just dont do that here at ECT.Also IF that driver gets in any kind of trouble while on Probation,, Suspension could range from 30 days to a Ban from ECT, That will be disscussed by ALL admins.
BLOCKING IS ALLOWED WITH 10 LAPS TO GO, BUT ONLY IN A SAFE MANNER. OVER AGGRESSIVE DRIVING PENALTIES WILL BE ENFORCED. DRIVERS MUST SIGNAL BY AUTO CHAT INTENTIONS TO PIT ONE HALF LAP BEFORE PITTING. IF A DRIVER SIGNALS TO PIT AND FAILS TO DO SO, THIS WILL BE DEEMED FAKE PITTING UNDER GREEN. IF BY ACCIDENT A DRIVERS SIGNALS TO PIT, THEY MUST THEN SIGNAL “EXITING PITS” IMMEDIATELY.
LAP CARS:
IF THERE IS 5 LAPS OR LESS TO GO UNDER GREEN AND THERE IS A SINGLE LAP CAR IN THE LEAD PACK THEY MUST LET THE LEAD CARS GO AND NOT RACE WITH THEM AT ALL…. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE A LAP CAR AND RACING WITH THE LEAD PACK IS IF YOU ARE RACING ANOTHER LAP CAR(S) FOR POSITION… IF YOU ARE THE ONLY CAR AND YOU ARE A LAP OR MORE DOWN AND DO NOT MOVE OUT OF THE PACK SAFELY YOU WILL LOSE POINTS FOR THAT RACE AND ALSO MAY BE SUSPENED FOR A RACE OR MORE….
VOICE CHAT UNDER CAUTION:
ONCE THE CAUTION COMES OUT VOICE CHAT IS TO HELD TO SILENT UNTIL THE LEADER ANNOUNCES THAT HE IS SLOWING AND THEN THAT HE HAS THE PACE CAR AND WHERE ON THE TRACK HE IS DOING BOTH. HOLD YOUR SPOT AND MAINTAIN SPEED UNTIL THE LEADER STATES HE IS SLOWING.

CAUTIONS:
RACING BACK TO THE YELLOW FLAG IS ALLOWED WITH 10 OR UNDER TO GO NOT SOONER !!..
DRIVERS DO NOT NEED TO SIGNAL THAT THEY ARE PITTING UNDER CAUTION. FAKE PITTING UNDER CAUTION IS PERMITTED, BUT ONLY IN A SAFE MANNER.
ENTERING THE PITS:
ALL CARS MUST MAINTAIN PIT ROAD SPEED. WHILE ON PIT ROAD YOU MUST STAY TO THE RIGHT LANE UNTIL YOU ARE 2 PIT STALLS AWAY FROM YOUR STALL. AT THIS POINT YOU MAY MERGE TO THE LEFT CAREFULLY. DRIVING DOWN PIT ROAD THROUGH OTHER DRIVERS PIT STALLS WILL GET YOU A BLACK FLAG ON THE NEXT RESTART BY THE ADMINS. IF YOU ARE OFF THE PACE OR DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING PIT ROAD SPEED ANNOUNCE TO THE DRIVERS BEHIND YOU THAT YOU ARE MOVING OVER TO LET THEM BY. .
EXITING THE PITS:
WHEN EXITING YOUR PIT STALL YOU MUST MERGE AS FOR TO THE RIGHT AS POSSIBLE. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE OUT WHILE GOING THROUGH OTHER PIT STALLS. SHOULD ANOTHER CAR BE OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR MAINTAIN YOUR POSISTION AS CLOSE TO THE OUTSIDE AS POSSBILE. ALL DRIVERS MUST SIGNAL “EXITING PITS” WHEN GOING BACK ONTO THE TRACK, UNDER GREEN & UNDER YELLOW.
BLACK FLAGS:
BLACK FLAGS WILL NOT BE CLEARED FOR ANY REASON. IF YOU GET A BLACK FLAG BECAUSE OF A GAME GLITCH OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON CONSIDER IT A MECHANICAL FAILURE AND GO TO THE BACK !!! IF THE DRIVER DOES NOT GO TO THE BACK THEY WILL BE DEDUCTED A LAP AFTER THE RACE..
SUBSTITUTE DRIVERS:
SHOULD A DRIVER HAVE TO MISS A RACE FOR ANY REASON HIS IS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A SUBSTITUTE DRIVER RACE FOR HIM FOR POINTS. SHOULD IT BE DETERMINED THAT A DRIVER DID HAVE THIS TAKE PLACE IT WILL BE DELT WITH SEVERLY BY THE LEAGUE ADMINS.
CONDUCT:
ACT LIKE AN ADULT, THAT SAYS IT ALL.
AGE LIMITS:
YOU MUST BE 18 OR OVER TO COMPETE HERE AT EAST COAST THUNDER..
AGE EXCEPTION:
ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, MAY RACE IF THEY ARE VOTED IN BY 3 OR MORE ECT ADMINS ONLY !!!!
PENALTY SYSTEM:
ALL PENALTIES HANDED OUT BY THE ADMINS WILL BE DEALT WITH IN THE SAME MANOR:
FIRST OFFENSE WILL BE A WRITTEN WARNING AND PROBATION .
SECOND OFFENSE IS A 1 WEEK SUSPENSION FROM ALL ECT SERIES RACES AND PROBATION.
THIRD OFFENSE IS A TWO WEEK SUSPENSION AND PROBATION.
FOURTH OFFENSE IS REMOVAL FROM ALL ECT RACING PERMANENTLY.
PROBATION WLL BE DEFINED AS REMAINDER OF CURRENT RACING SEASON OR 6 WEEKS. WHICH EVER IS LONGER.
NOTE: THE ADMINS AND OWNERS OF ECT RETAIN THE RIGHT TO EJECT ANYONE FROM ECT AT ANYTIME REGUARDLESS OF THE ABOVE PENALTY STRUCTURE FOR CONDUCT DEEMED NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ECT. THIS COULD BE EXCESSIVE FLAMMING, EXCESSISE AGGRESSIVE DRIVING, AND RECKLESS BEHAVIOR, JUST TO NAME A FEW. REMEMBER WE’RE ALL HERE TO HAVE FUN AND AN ENJOYABLE NIGHT. ONCE THIS LINE IS CROSSED THE ADMINS WILL STEP IN AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION.
MEMBER TERMINATION:
ANY MEMBER UNDER THE AGE OF 18 CAN BE BROUGHT UP FOR A RE-VOTE, AT ANYTIME, IF DEEMED NECESSARY BY ANY ADMIN. WE DO THIS TO MINIMIZE ANY CHILDISH, OVER AGGRESSIVE, RECKLESS BEHAVIOR.
ANY DRIVER WHO RECEIVES TWO OVER AGGRESSIVE DRIVING PENALTIES OR TWO PERSONAL MISCONDUCT PENALTIES, OR COMBINATION OF BOTH DURING ANY GIVEN SEASON, THIS DRIVER WILL NOW BE SUBJECT TO A TERMINATION VOTE. IF 80% OR MORE OF THE MEMBERS VOTE TO TERMINATE A DRIVER FROM THE LEAGUE, THAT SHALL BE GROUNDS TO DO SO. ALL VOTING IS STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
