The Indycar Series traveled south to the Palm Tree lined streets of St. Petersburg. The scenic beauty of this course on the shores of Tampa Bay is overshadowed by the concrete barriers that keep the competitors from landing in the drink. The tight street course tested the abilities of all of the drivers. OGR Outlaw managed to figure out the track and laid down a blistering 112.20 lap to set the pole. At the drop of the green, he would take his Mobil 1 Office Depot Chevy to the lead and never look back leading the entire race. ECT Q would settle in to a steady pace that kept him off the walls and out of trouble to finish a distant second. The concrete walls and tire barriers would alter the following positions from lap to lap. When the dust settled , OGR Ellie would claim the final podium position. Next week the series returns to it’s birthplace and the largest track of the season. Come join us at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
