Bechtelsville, Pa. Week 1 saw Bobby Sweeney wheel his NASCAR Whelen 358 Modified to victory lane from 3rd starting position. From the time the track gates opened Wednesday night it was obvious that Sweeney had the car to beat! Can anyone match Bobby’s dominating performance from last week? We will find out tonight when the track gates open at 8:00 EST.

Calistoga Speedway is where the the small block modifieds showed up last night. It was Ricky LaDuke making the long tow from Michigan taking home the trophy. Laduke showed up ready to race in his Corliss Signs/Sun Drop sponsored Teo Pro Car. He would start on the pole in his heat race and dominate for the win. Bobby Sweeney was a close second followed by Cori Bibbus. The 25 lap feature event would run caution free with great battles through out the field. New comers GT Smith and Matt Woehl made impressive debuts with a 5th and 6th place finishes. But, it was LaDuke leading every lap of the feature to take down his first win of season.
