A large crowd entered the race Friday at Martinsville. -ECT-TJ had won the last two races of the season, and was on hand to attempt a three-pete.
He started the day off right, being the fastest in final practice and Happy Hour, and qualifying on the outside of the front row, opposite of David Day, who laid down a lap of 96.376 mph on the paperclip.
60 laps of caution slowed down the race time to 64.146 mph. But when the race ended, it was TJ completing the three-pete. TH led 76 laps, second again to Day. 5 drivers led laps. The remainder of the Top 5 were: Dennie Daniels, OGR Ellie, Ken Hayes, and MOMO.
Next Friday the series moves to Kentucky, where ECT hopes to increase its lead over FTRL and OGR in the Team Points.
