Two time champ Chuck McClure was able to make a guest appearance and set fastest time in qual. With the drop of the green, &#8220;Sweet Home Alabama&#8221; went out the window and sparks started to fly. It was obvious that the drivers would fight for every spot the entire race. Last seasons runner up would be out early with &#8220;mechanical&#8221; problems and the only retired car on the night. But it would not go easy for the rest of the field. Reigning Smoke&#8217;s Truck Series Champ, John &#8220;FDEISEL&#8221; Forgione would lead the most laps on the night including the final one. DonL and Bernie Mobbs would round out the top three. SS Thunder Champ -ECT-Bernie continued his consistency but may have gotten a glimpse of his biggest challenger this season.
