With a good field of drivers, the SS Thunder Series returned to face off under the lights at Talladega. As promised paint was swapped with several drivers having sufficient flight time to qualify for a pilot’s license. When the tire squeals stopped, Bob Dixon, who sat the pole and led the most laps, was atop the podium for his first win in the series. Congratulations !!!!!!!! Bernie Mobbs finished third to maintain the points lead for another week. Next week we’ll see who gets to kiss the “yard of bricks” as Indybanked will play host to the series.
