Calistoga Speedway is where the the small block modifieds showed up last night. It was Ricky LaDuke making the long tow from Michigan taking home the trophy. Laduke showed up ready to race in his Corliss Signs/Sun Drop sponsored Teo Pro Car. He would start on the pole in his heat race and dominate for the win. Bobby Sweeney was a close second followed by Cori Bibbus. The 25 lap feature event would run caution free with great battles through out the field. New comers GT Smith and Matt Woehl made impressive debuts with a 5th and 6th place finishes. But, it was LaDuke leading every lap of the feature to take down his first win of season.

Paul McCollum would line up fourth for the feature event and take the lead on the very first lap. He withstood challenges from Bibbus, James, Kring and Roser thoughout the race, leading all 60 laps enroute to a dominating win. Bibbus came home 2nd, Roser 3rd, James 4th and Schilling rounded out your top 5. Come join us next week as the 358 DIRT Late Models head to Weedsport, NY.
